Springtime Murmur

Spring is just around the corner! Around here that means everyone spends free time outside. Sauce and I set up shop on our patio and write, read, drink, snack and soak up as much sun as we can handle. This drink is perfect for such a setting.


Equipment: coupe or martini glass, shaker, strainer

1 oz gin (I really enjoy Hendricks)

¼ oz crème de cassis

3 drops rose water


Tulip Petal

Mint sprig


Combine gin, crème de cassis and rose water in shaker with ice. Shake for 15-20 seconds and strain into coupe or martini glass. Top with Prosecco and garnish with tulip petal and spanked mint leaf (these two really add to the aromatic appeal of the drink). Cheers!
